(the home of ambience in Ireland, 2FM) have been invited to host the
official chillout arena for this year's Planetlove Summer Session.
The event takes place on Saturday 21st June at Fairyhouse Racecourse,
Ratoath, Co. Meath. The festival hosted by Planetlove & 2FM has
certainly built up a beautiful reputation for supplying clubbers with
plenty of homegrown talent mixed with International guests. The choice
to dedicate a whole area to not just DJ's but also live Ambient/Electronic
music has pleased all at Psychonavigation HQ. So what have we got
planned for all you chillers? Well we just could not ask the world's most gifted chillout DJ in the world could we? So we called on the legend that is Mixmaster Morris (Ninja Tune, Big Chill). The man who shouldn't need a big introduction but for whom remain uneducated to all things Irresistible - Morris who has been named the natural successor to the mighty John Peel headlines the chill area! The man is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge. His djing sets take in everything from Chillout - Electronica - Funk - Breakbeat all perfectly executed. Morris is joined by his good friend and fellow Nubient DJ - Danny Johnstone. Danny has been busy lately helping the legendary group Coldcut with their live visual showcase. He has kindly volunteered his talent of mixing up amazing music with glorious visuals. Which leads us on to a fantastic live musician by the name of Enrico Coniglio. The Venice based musician has released two records on Psychonavigation to critical acclaim and he has an exclusive set prepared for Plantelove. The homegrown talent serves up live sets form 3 of Psychonavigation's freshest talents: first up R.S.A.G. (Rarely Seen Above Ground) - a one man band soaking up influences as diverse as Joy Division, Talking Heads with the visual impact of the Gorillaz. A truly great live show is imminent. Ciaran Byrne (a name you may be familiar with perhaps) has been busy working on his new album for the label 'Nine Lives Causeway' will deliver a live montage of new and old material for your enjoyment. Fans of Boards of Canada will be smiling from ear to ear! So that leaves one more live set and it's a goody - Alphamono aka Paddy McGovern takes us on a trip down the road of bands like Air, Super Furry Animals, Daft Punk... and delivers his own original style - after his recent IMRO showcase gig recently he's rared up for another explosive set. So that leaves last but not least the main man behind Psychonavigation, DJ Keith Downey, who manages to balance running an independent record label, A&R duties, radio show on Spin 1038. Alongside other Psychonavigation DJ's, he starts the proceedings with a crate of early ambient and drum n bass perfectly chilled and ready to be unleashed. We kick at 1pm and rock till 1am. Nippi Records, a commercial chillout division of
Psychonavigation, has released a compilation CD titled 'Sundazed' (nothing
to do with any club nights by a similar name).
The 'Sundazed' CD is the label's first release and has been described
as a "definitive ambient chillout compilation" with its collaborations
with Irish and international artists. The most notable of these include
Beat Foundation, half of which is Groove Armada's Andy Cato.

Psychonavigation Records launch their new weekly bar gig on Saturday July 15th in the lush surroundings of RadioCity, Store Street, Dublin 1.
Complimentary food will be available all night and drink promotions.
Doors: 10pm - 3am.

JUN 2006: PSYCHONAVIGATION AT LIFE FESTIVAL, IRELAND
Psychonavigation artists Sean Quinn, David Bickley, Ciaran Byrne & The Soul Gun Warriors will be performing at this year's Life Festival in the picturesque location of Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. DJ Keith Downey & DJ Mog-Y also performing.
The 3 day festival will surely be the highlight of the year for all music lovers!

JUN 2006: DAVID BICKLEY AT TRINITY ROOMS, LIMERICK
Psychonavigation artist David Bickley will be playing a live set at the fantastic Trinity Rooms venue in Limerick on Friday June 9th. David will be playing tracks from his new LP 'Still Rivers At Night' which has just been released on Dublin label Psychonavigation Records. Support from DJ Keith Downey.
Expect a night of the best in ambient/dub rhythms.

MAY 2006: DAVID BICKLEY - NEW ALBUM
David Bickley's debut album on Psychonavigation Records is 'Still Rivers At Night', an album of organic sounds & samples creating a hybrid of ambient & dub rhythms. David's compositions have been compared to The Orb, Another Fine Day, Seefeel, and the current output from The Em:t label, etc...
'Still Rivers At Night' comes out on 12th June and will be available in Ireland and via this website late May. More details here.

FEB 2006: PSYCHONAVIGATION WEEKLY CLUB RESIDENCY
Psychonavigation DJ's will be spinning the best in electronica every Friday at The Mind Room in Spirit, Dublin. We also plan to have regular live sets weekly and the venue will also cater for our album showcases. We have tons of free passes to give away so if you fancy popping down some week drop us an email.

OCT 2005: ANNE GARNER LP 'RE-MAKING THE PEARL' RELEASED
Anne Garner, Sheffield singer/songwriter releases a remix album of her songs 'Re-Making The Pearl' on Psychonavigation later this month. Remade/remodelled by DJ's, musicians and remixers such as Mixmaster Morris, Richard H Kirk, The Pylon King, Dean Honer, etc.
The release date for this CD is 29th October 2005, but copies can be pre-ordered through this website from 17th October.
The launch night for this release will take place during the Psychonavigation Showcase as part of this year's DEAF festival (event details below).
