The Pale have returned to present their long awaited new album 'Lonely Space Age'. The Pale are Matthew Devereux, Emma Shanley and Darren Flynn.

With a career spanning over 12 years, The Pale has seen many changes. They signed to A&M Records in 1991 and subsequently recorded their debut album 'Here's One We Made Earlier' before parting from the label in 1994.

Favouring the independent approach the band set up their own label, Gudenfast, on which they recorded many EP's, singles and a limited album 'Spudgun'. They also did extensive touring in countries such as Japan, UK and the USA.

Staying with indie labels, The Pale's latest musical outing is released on Dublin's Psychonavigation Records. 'Lonely Space Age' sees the trio take a more experimental direction, in combination with their signature acoustic sound and unusual lyrics. Singer Matthew has recently released his first solo effort 'Russian Space Race Auction' on the label also.
